Tours

Please note that there won't be any organized tour, either ornithological or cultural, during the conference itself.

Yet there is a wide range of tour packages available in Québec City, ranging from historical walking or calèche tours to countryside tours. In our opinion, tours designed specifically to visit Old-Québec (e.g., fortifications, Plains of Abraham, Place Royale, Place d'Armes, Château Frontenac) warrant consideration by delegates. The Organizing Committee will consider the possibility of arranging walking tours for delegates who may be interested in visiting Old-Québec on Friday (November 14) afternoon.

Delegates interested in birdwatching and sightseeing in Québec should consider visiting the Charlevoix Region, the Forêt Montmorency boreal forest, the Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, and the Parc national des Grands-Jardins, among others. Delegates may contact the for specific information regarding potential birdwatching activities.
